it has been nice out for the past couple days and this is the weekend of the rut i was told. are the does still gonna be hot even if the weather is? if this is the rut this is the worst rut i have ever seen. i didnt see a deer the past two days.

From everything I've read, heard, and seen, the temperature has little to no affect on the overall rut. When a doe is in estrous, she's in estrous. Period!! (No pun intended) LOL

It's supposed to be in the 60's here in Missouri as well all week, but I can assure you that I'll be in the woods every chance I get. I am on vacation this week too!! Come on RUT!!

Here in SE Pa it's been in the upper 40s and last Thursday I saw 6 deer, all shooter bucks, one of which I killed!

I just can't figer it out saturday morn 32 dergee, i see 7 different bucks and 4 doe's. Sunday morn it's 40 dergee and a bright moon and i didn't see on deer and i stay out until 10;30 both days.

Ya tonight it was pretty warm by me. I used the growl and all of a sudden a giant buck started coming in and coming right to me and all of a sudden a fourwheeler showed up and scared him out.

Hunted in WI Saturday....saw all kinds of deer moving including 4 bukcs at once. Today...very quiet. It is supposed to warm up here as well with a cool down later in the week.
