As I have stated in other posts, I gave up on my old bow after flesh wounding 2 deer because of no penetration of my arrow. I am looking for a new bow and went to check out a new pro shop as well. I found one that is obviously a HOYT dealer. I have had no experience with Hoyts. I was hoping to get some advice from the board on them. He also had a brand new Matthews Q1 for $400.00. What do you guys think?

My husband has a Hoyt Cybertec and he absolutely loves it. He had a Mathews MQ32 last year and went in to buy the Legacy this year, but there was a Hoyt rep at the pro shop that day, and he asked John to just try the Hoyt. Well my husband did, and the rest is history. He says the Hoyt draws much smoother than the Mathews, and he raves about the accuracy, the speed and the lightness of it. I'm sure if he was on the computer tonight, he would have responded to this post right away and told you that his opinion is - GO WITH THE HOYT!! Just thought I'd let you know since he's always telling all his buddies to get one.
By the way - I shoot a Hoyt Havoctec and I also love it! But I don't have the experience with other bows that John does, so I figured I'd give you his take on it. Good luck!!

The MT Sport and the Magna tec are great bows for a guy on a budget. They are good reliable hunting bows. The Magna tec is slightly faster but the Sport has more brace height and is the more forgiving.
