How many use a doe or buck decoy? Just for soemthing to do today, I brought along my archery deer target and set it up just for fun. LOL I didn't see and bucks but i saw nice size doe and she came running to check it out. She hung around for about 45 minutes it was awesome. I could have gotten a shot but I saw a huge 8 pointer last week in that area and I was hoping he might see the does and make a guest apprearance. It was pretty cool just to watch the doe wonder what the hell is that decoy doing lol. Could this possibly help me maybe bring that buck into bow range or who knows maybe a different buck? Thanks for your replys. Paul

It sure can! Just make sure you put it upwind from you and at least 20 yards or so. The first thing a buck will do is circle downwind from it , so use that to your advantage.
Caution!! During the rut , if the buck gets by you without presenting a shot , you can kiss your target goodbye! Been there , done that , I had a 3pc 3d target when I set it up , and ended up with about a 12pc pile of crap after the buck charged him It was worth the price of the target just watching the whole thing unravel. The buck circled down wind from the target just inside of 20 yards , but he stepped up his pace and went thru my shooting lanes too fast. I let down my bow just in time to see the hair on his neck stand straight up before he charged my target head on. I wish I could have caught it on video.
3d target = $130
The look on that bucks face after destroying it = priceless
