AHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Why do you do that to me? You had to go ahead and shoot him before I come up AGAIN... Your so lucky I'm your best friend and hunting partner to come home from work at 11:50pm and find out with a picture, now I wont be able to sleep I feel like riding up to see him right now 2hrs is nothing. Congrats my brother on a fine buck and I think you have no choice on the mounting, it will be done. You know this is three years in a row you scored before I come up for my nice long vaction of whitetails and treestands. Keep the trend I kinda like it. Congrats brother Q2

I want to thank all of you so very much. This is what makes this place so damn special to me. Ya's got's to figure, how many people can you share you hunt with without the internet, talk about a extended family.
Here's a photo to help with the story. I'm in the Pin Oak stand looking down towards the food plot from which this buck came from.

You can see the food plot, it's rougly 200 yards out. He responded to the calls like a champ and came in on a string. He walked that trial I have mowed. I mowed it to get my truck and atv to the food plot. I picked that route because it was a trail the deer have been using for years.
I shot him when he crossed a field access road and entered a CRP field to my right/back. This is what it looked like before and after the landowner mowed a few paths in the other day. I think it helped.

I was trying to calm my nerves as I put my release on the string loop. I was shaking so bad that I triggered the release when I tried to move my finger around it to draw.Rob
LOL ..and I thought only us rookies shake. I don't feel bad now. Great buck Rob. I reckon the shaking is part of the addiction.
Can't wait to get the shakes again.
