I want to thank all of you so very much. This is what makes this place so damn special to me. Ya's got's to figure, how many people can you share you hunt with without the internet, talk about a extended family.

Here's a photo to help with the story. I'm in the Pin Oak stand looking down towards the food plot from which this buck came from.



You can see the food plot, it's rougly 200 yards out. He responded to the calls like a champ and came in on a string. He walked that trial I have mowed. I mowed it to get my truck and atv to the food plot. I picked that route because it was a trail the deer have been using for years.

I shot him when he crossed a field access road and entered a CRP field to my right/back. This is what it looked like before and after the landowner mowed a few paths in the other day. I think it helped.
