I was excited when you called, last night.....and I'm more excited after hearing the story. I just don't know how to express to people that don't hunt what we feel like when we're about to puul the trigger. I know JUST how you felt....and ....shxt....I just wish we could bottle it! I was excited just reading your story!
You darned right you have that buck mounted. If you have her blessing....you go for it. Can you have too many??????????????????????????????? I don't regret not mounting my first.....but I have the antlers still attached to the skull....and I'm gonna do something with it.

Congrats Rob... I would mount him.. the tough part is over.. the permission from the boss. A trophy is in the eye of the beholder. You had alot of encounters with him and harvested him. He is a great buck too. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Nice buck and great story Rob. Buddy if my told me to mount any deer I wopuld be more than happy too. She loves the one I have on the wall but don't think she is in a hurry for me too bring home another dust catcher!!! But it is up to you and I know you will make the correct decision because youare a real stand up hunter. Once again nice buck and great story.
