Default Release Problem

I have never had this problem before, but lately when I am at full drawn at ready to squeeze the trigger, my hand creeps a little and my finger hits the trigger and off the arrow goes. Luckily I am shooting downward and the arrow goes into the dirst near my target. It seems like even when I try to correct it, it just subconciously happens. Has this ever happened to anyone, if so what can I do. I will shoot again to tomorrow, and start at ten years and move back 5 yards each time and hopefully consentrate more. Other then that my groups are still good exept for that stray arrow every so often.

One of the many forms of target panic. Blind bale, blind bale, and blind bale some more.

Mobow hit the nail on the head.

Blind bale for awhile, see if things don't straighten themselves out.

Blind bale shooting is just you standing close to your target, arrow drawn, eyes closed, focusing on nothing but your form/release.

With your eyes closed you aren't worrying about your accuracy and you're more able to focus on the mechanics of the shot.

Do you have an adjustable trigger on your release? If so try to adjust it so more pressure is required.

Hey bow hunters,
I've got release problems too. Mine is fine ..but about every 40 arrows my release {Tru Fire} hangs up and won't fire the arrow. The string must get hung up on one of the fingers. I use a string loop.Any suggestions??
Thanks,
C7
