I've been using Thunderhead 125's forever and have taken many deer with them. So why change something that I know works right? Well..... it's a simple matter of thinking that something just might do the job a little better (you know - we bowhunters are suckers for that marketing ploy), so I've been looking at cut on contact broadheads. The NAP Razorbacks and the Thunderhead XPs have caught my eye as well as others.
What's everyone's take on cut on contact heads - are they better? Do they work as good as hardened steel points for going through bone? Do they have better penetration?

I shoot Magnus Stingers, a cut on contact. 2 weeks ago I shot a doe through BOTH shoulder blades and got a complete pass through. The Stinger was pretty much....no it WAS, destroyed....the ferrule was bent and a blade sheared off, but again, it went completely through the deer.
I contacted Magnus and they are replacing it free of charge.
