What if any doe in heat scents do you use and how do you apply to your set? Looking at Code Blue. Have used Tinks with some success. Ever use pee willy wick, tink wick, cotton ball etc.......

Kishel's Doe Passion. I have used it for three years and always have bucks come in to it sniffing. It's not a synthetic and if I have some left I can cap it and store it until the next season (in my beer fridge in the garage). I also use their Buck Thrasher II which is an all-season gland and musk lure.
Also check out eBay, there's a guy selling scent canisters that use a wick, can hang or stick in the ground, and have an o-ring seal to keep the scent from evaporating between hunts. I just bought three sets (of three: red, yellow and green) for $15 and I can't wait to try them out!

My shop owner just turned me on to Whitetail Hollow Scents. They are made 1/2 hour from my house and he just swears by them. I've not used scents much in the past, but figured hey, since I get them for free, why not give it a whirl? I brought home a bottle of Red Hot Doe and Buck Rage.
I'll be using a 2 rag drag. One w/ doe, the other w/ buck to simulate a buck running a hot doe. I'll reapply about every 50 yards to keep the odor from becoming to weak, and I will then hang them from a tree 20 yards from my stand. I will also dribble some on the tree around my stand...We'll see. Who knows, it COULD work, right?

I like using cronks up here, they make a lot of scents for trappers and hunters. Also alot of other stuff.
