Wrong. You just scared off and gave your exact location to God knows how many deerusing a call that might work a few days during peak rut. You would have to hunt just about everyday to know when the time is right to use it. Just my opinion but I would stick with the more friendly calls.

Yep I agree, calling at the wrong time is bad. The mature deer will know something is up.

Once everyone gets the growl and starts blowing it at every buck walks by; it will not take them long to figure it out.
