I had the same thing happen one time right at daybreak. I left the area thinking it was ruined. Came back early afternoon to get my stand out and jumped a group of deer that had bedded within 20 yards of my pile. Apparently they didn't mind it. I try my hardest not to, but if you have to don't worry about your stand being ruined forever.

Its not that big of deal. Think about it. Every animal sh*ts in the woods. If its a good spot throw some leaves and dirt over it and get back out there and hunt. I killed a nice 11 point last sunday about an hour after I pissed off the side of my treestand. Pee is Pee and Poop is Poop no matter what animal it comes from.
