Well if you make a good shot you should be able to find it by yourself fairly easily. Be carefull of getting to many people. All of those feet can step on and destroy the sign. Take it slow and you will find it. As for getting a head mounted they go for around 450-475 around here.Good luck.

Wait a minute....You're getting paid to bowhunt in a national park and you're new to it. Are you serious?
i got hired to go ground hunting on kennesaw mountain national park
Take it slow, listen and learn. It would be great if you could get a deer this weekend but bowhunting is a challenge to say the least. There is quite a bit more to bowhunting than just being able to shoot well. Don't rush into bowhunting expecting immediate results.
Welcome to the boards and good luck to you.
Be patient grasshopper.

You cannot learn it in 48 hours - its takes decades
You need a mentor, someone who can SHOW you. Who are you hunting with that they can't help you ?
Read what you can, but you cannot learn hunting in 48 hours. Heres my advice - enjoy the sunrise, the breakfast with your friends, the woodpeckers, the flocks of blackbirds, a squirell eating acorns, the calm of the morning, the smell of the wind.
If you DO get a chance at a deer, make absolutely certain of your shot before you take it- and when you DO decide to take the shot, make it.
