anyone been hitting the can call hard lately??..if so had any luck??tomorrow night im gonna set out a few scent bombs with doe p and hit the can a little more than i have been this year i think..

I treid it a few times but with no success.

I've tried it a couple times with no results. Barely even got a look!!

my friend called in a nice 8 point on 10-14-06 with the can after he saw him chasing does

i hit the can and had a doe and a 6 point walk right up on me

Use it very sparingly, and only if the deer are not moving in your area. If they are moving, keep quiet and wait.

I spooked a young buck when I pulled back (I was on the ground, he was at 10 yards.) He had run about 40 yards and with his back to me I hit the doe can 3 times. Came RIGHT back around. Impressive.

I tried it for 4 days on different parts of the lease am/pm with no results. I think it is just to early in the south to mess with calling, but didnt have much to loose at the time.

My son was using my can in the garage last night, the only thing he called in was me from the backyard...
