Hey campo, sorry to hear that. And yes it really sucks![:@]This property that I hunt which is private,I had a Lone Wolf climber stolen 2 years ago that was locked! I've always had an idea of who stole it, or at least the house they live in which borders the property I hunt.
I've always wanted to put a trail cam up here but have been afraid it would get stolen as well. I got this idea on this forum. I left a note, which is plastic coated for the weather. It reads something like this:
If you're reading this you have already been photographed by a similar camera which is in these same woods. You're probably the same person who stole the tree stand from these woods! If you steal or otherwise mess with this camera you will be hearing from me.
Trust me when I tell you I know EXACTLY which house you live in bordering these woods! My advice to you would be to leave.

Thanks pretty 'weak' IMO! Is shooting people illegal? lol! Seriously - I haven't been able to get hunting for a few yrs with college going on - and wasn't aware that hunters were stooping so low these days. Thanks for the head-up.

Put up a little spy cam, like the ones that catch these abusive babysiters, you can get them at Radio Shack, don't know how much they cost but they are very small and easly concealed.
