visit your local bow shop and look around just remember archery is a expensive sport so don't be surprised if u see a new hoyt trykon or matthews switchback going for 700.00 dollars.

I agree about the pro shop. If money is an issue, many pro shops have a good selection of lightly used bows that can be had at a fair price and you still get to utilizethe expertise the shop has to offer on your purchase. Good luck.

well I have been looking around in magazines at a couple of bows...one the reflex excursion and two the fred bear element... I was just wondering what bows you guys shoot and what your feedback on them would be, money is a little bit of an issue

The magazine I have been looking at is Archery Experts. Ever heard of them? they are near the twin cities. the give a couple of different packages. the both come with 6 carbon arrows, a quiver, 6 combo points a peep and a sight, the only difference is that one comes with a counter weight and the original whiskar bisquit and the other comes with a two prong arrow rest and no stabilizer. the one with the whisker bisquit and counter weight is an extra 75 bucks and the two prong is 50
