By used, I mean pawed up and secreted on. I don't think a dominant buck necessarily keeps other bucks off his scrape! This is one of those subjects that can be tossed around "till the cows come home".

Good post alot of useful information , nice to a good discussion in here.
I beleave that I might have a primary scrape just 20 yards from my Dead Does Point stand , the reason why I say that is because it was there last year in the late season and its located in the middle of the oaks .
I hope thats the case this year , I know theres a big 10 maybe 11 pointer around.

Another dominant buck may come and try and take the area over, when this happens get your plain ticket to California, Heff is going to call and invite you to the playboy pen, you are just that lucky!!! Here in MI that is a rarity, LOL
