Primary Vein

Default Primary Vein

I need a refresher or advice...when nocking a arrow do I need the primary vein up or down. My rest is the the two little finger kind for right now anyway...lol..and what the heck is the proper name for my kind of rest.

You got a prong rest...usually it's best to shoot the with cock vane down so it goes between the prongs.

Yep, cock (odd) feather down. I won't repeat what my bow tech says about how to remember which way the cock feather goes.

Which ever way gives you the best clearance for your prongs and harness. I tend to shoot cock feather out most of the time because it gives me better clearance for my harness.
