Yes we can, I do not consider that using a scrape. I consider that to be a young deer investigating a scrape. Because he is going to wonder off and might not come back. Young deer do not have an area they control. They just wonder around, LOL Yes a young deer will come and pawn the scrape. Differnce of defination between you and I, neither of us are wrong, we just look at it different.

Another dominant buck may come and try and take the area over, when this happens get your plain ticket to California, Heff is going to call and invite you to the playboy pen, you are just that lucky!!! Here in MI that is a rarity, LOL
