Coyote vs. Doe
#1
Upon closer inspection, my dad and I found lots of healed wounds/scarson the face of his doe while caping it. The ear had a healed over tear, and numerous bite marks around one eye and the muzzle. I got pictures....looked almost like a canine got close to killing the deer. It was either a coyote or a domestic dog. But the doe had no fawn with it when it was shot, however it did have an udder that was full. Wonder if the fawn was killed and she was injured while defendingit. Just something to ponder. Anyone have any experiences like this? I'll get the pics up soon.

Don't forget that does will beat one another with their hooves, could be some scars from that but.....death from tooth and claw is more horrifing than a arrow through the boiler maker.
To think what these animals endure year round and how worse it would be if we didn't keep the herd in check through hunting.
