Default MD Sika hunt!

Hey Guys,

I leave for my Sika hunt next Wednesday. I am really excited and can't wait to get in the marshes and chase this little critter. We have one of my friends that had to back out, are any of you guys interested in going on a 3 day hunt? It will be 10/5-7/06, but we want to arrive the evening of the 4th. I'll give more info if any of you are interested.

Mike

I would love to go with you but with the WV bow season coming up I don't have the extra time off. GOOD LUCK!

Hey i sure would like to do that since i only live about 2 hours from where they live, But im only 16 and dont have a truck yet so i cant get my self down there, But make sure you have a therma cell with you, The mosquitos are HORRIBLE!!!!!!! im mean they will literally eat you alive. Also those little deer aint very easy to hunt, there very nocturnal, and only sometimes you catch them in the evening. But i think its time for there rut right now so if they are in rut then set up near some mud wallows.

And good luck and be sure to post back and let us know how the hunt goes.

Thanks Ray,

This is my 2nd year hunting them and I do have a couple of ThermaCells. We had good luck this time last year and I was able to take a nice hind. They are really good to eat. I look forward to seeing my first Stag this year.
