I've known some people who do that to cut the windpipe and the esophagus to pull them out while dressing the deer. I've never seen anyone make a slice that wide or bloody to do it though!

Hello everyone! My name is Chris, live in NC. Watched this 9 point for a month before season started this year and got several cuddeback pics of him. Took me 2 weeks into bowseason to finally close the deal but came out to be my best NC buck to date.
