Buying my first bow... Clubs / Shops upstate NY?
Hi all, I've been reading posts & literature, gonna buy my first bow this week, I hope!
Anybody recommend a good, knowlegeable place in the Kingston or New Paltz New York (Catskills) area that can help a beginner? I'm also new to the area and don't know too many folks.

I am just about 45 minutes north of you in Albany at Lemme's Archery (the oldest shop known of in the country). I work Tues and Thurs nights and if you can arrange to be here one of those nights I will personally help you get setup with the right stuff. We will even include a lesson for you to make sure you start and learn the right way without developing any bad habits.

Originally from Montreal, been living in NYC for lotta years.
I have family outside of Bearsville, so I've been up & around the area for a long time.
I'll drop you a line if I head up that way - I travel up 87 when I go home to visit.
