I was out this weekend in the SC Mountains on the NC border and saw a buck chase off two does. Has anyone seen any action? It seems that the rut is just starting in this area.Let me know if anyone agrees.

I'm hunting near Chester, SC and the rut is all but over here. That old boy might be in for some late season lovin' but you'll have to move quick to take advantage of that.

I'm hunting in Fairfield and Florence counties and I haven't seen much activity lately at all.

They're getting ready to cut the beans at my Florence farm so maybe that will help.
