Martinate in Milk???

If it's steaks or some other cut of meat, not a roast,put it under running warm water to wash off the remaining blood before you cook it.. Someone told me thatthe gamey taste comes from the blood. It seems to work well for me, if you don't want that taste. To me it doesn't matter but, the family likes it alot better.

I've tried milk, coke, italian dressing, salt water. Milk and coke didn't seem to affect the taste one way or the other. I hated the italian dressing and the salt water wasn't that great either. The thing that has helped me get eh best tasting meat is to try and get as much blood out while processing. Letting the meat cool for a few days and allowing the blood to drain off the meat.
