FYI, Have just contacted the Store manager at Sportsmans Warehouse in Missoula...have sent him email, and left voice mail for him.
He is out today, but I am pretty sure they will want to step up and do something!!!

Well I got home & went through my closet plus I went to the store & bought him a few new things. I have put together a few boxes of items. Here is whats on my list, so that we all don't duplucate too many items. New Buckmasters fleece jacket & Cap, quilted thermals, Mossey Oak hooded jacket w/ shirt & pants. A few other pairs of camo pants, shirts, a folding knife, fanny pack & most of all .....an orange vest.
I'll send it out on friday. Give that boy a hug from me & tell his daddy, thank you for defending my freedom !!
God Bless

My Name is SGT Benjamin Marks. You know me as Masterdiver. I know this is off the subject somewhat but do you know what UNIT this kids father belongs to or could you get that info for me so I can find out why this Service Members family is not being cared for by the Units Family Support Group. You are very kind neighbor to do what you are doing and I greatly appreciate it and I salute you and the others who are kind enough to give from their heart and souls. I have always put my soldiers needs above my own and sometimes the countries. It really chaps myA$$ when I read about service members families being cared for by others than the Command they belong to. I mean no disrespect to you by that. I love ya'll for what you are doing more than you can imagine. I just need to chew some A$$ ofhis units Chain of Command for what they are not doing and that they promised the soldier and his family prior to his departure. I'll be sending some items through to ya in the immediate future. Can you let me know if the family needs anything such as clothing, blankets, food.

We should not only do this for Jesse but all kids who's parents are diployed and wont have the time to get home and hunt with their kids. Maybe we should set up some type of organiztion here at HN. It would be nice to do something like that, where maybe they dont have the stuff to hunt with but maybe a mentor to help as well (take the kids hunting and teach them how). I will check my closet to see what I have.......Great Job Casey!!!!!!!!

Masterdiver,
I am not sure what branch etc he belongs to. I know the family has the basics that they need, roof over their head/transportation/food/etc... I just know there are no extras for things like hunting and outdoor activities. They are the type of folks that would NEVER ask for help and that may be part of the issue. I will look into it for. Thank you for your service to all of us and taking care of the Greatest Country in the world. Happy hunting, Casey
