Default Field logic 3D stand

I don't have a 3D target myself, so I don't know they set up, but why do you need a stand for a 3D target? Doesn't it just sit 4 legs on the ground? The ad says "Setting up and moving 3D targets can be a hassle." Is it really a hassle? Sounds like another example of a company making something that's not really needed if you ask me. However, as I said, I don't have a 3D target myself.

Most of your 3-D targets come with holes in the legs to set the target onto poles you woudl stick in the ground. This is a stability issue so it doesnt fall over when you shoot it.
