Default Hunting Boots Care

Anyone do anything in particualr to their boots to help with scent elimination? I have leather boots and I usually spray odor neutralizer on them then I'll spray either coon urine or fox urine on them. Just wondering if anyone else had any other ideas. Thanks in advance. Paul

Paul, first off, i put my boots on at my hunting area.
I do not use my boots for anything else.
I periodicly clean them in warm water and baking soda.
I also use scent eliminators like vanishing hunter, scent sheild etc.
I don't use cover scent directly on my boots, i use a scent pad or scent drag.
I use leather boots, and rubber boots, it depends on the hunting terrain and how far i have to walk that determines which type of boots i wear.
The key in my opinion is do not wear your boots, other than for hunting, you can pick up odors like gasoline etc.
Same goes for your hunting garments, keep them in a scentlok bag or garbage bag with scent wafers of some sort.
Hope this helps.

Thanks BBA! I;m going to clean my boots with baking soda. I never even thought about that. I usually just keep my boots outside. Is that ok?

Paul,
You can leave them out if you want but, i would put them in some kind of bag(trash bag) with maybe some fresh earth scent wafers. If it gets cold outside though you might want to put them in the cab of your truck or car.
But leave them in your bag.
