I am not so much concerned now about what it is, as it is dead
now. I am more concerned about how many brothers or sisters
that may exist out there. Or if it has young ones there also from
the genes it carried. For as far as what it is with all the testing
being done we should be able to know what it was when the
results are back. In the photo enclosed look at the upturned
fang or the back paw with 2 extra toes resembling the horns of a
devil. This is clearly something different than your average dog.
However this could be just deformed, or a coyote/wolve/dog cross. It is estimated to be from 40 -- 50 pounds.

So does that mean there are doing testing on it, b/c the article noted the local authorities declined to examine it or run DNA test on it.

There aren't likely to be more than a dozen in the entire state if it's a hybrid , and hybrids are sterile and therefore unable to reproduce , so it has no offspring .

Early DNA test results are back saying a canine, and the mother was a
dog. More testing is being done to see if a cross with wolf or anyother
wild animal. Exact breed is unkown at this time as it was decomposed
and is unclear. Also is not believed to be the animal that killed the
doberman and rottie. That creature is still believed to be still out there.
