well in my area of PA on the 5c/5d border.. I run out of tags before i run out of doe! I shoot 4 deer a year tops. I keep 2 for myself for my family to eat for the meat for winter/spring/summer and the other two i donate to the sharing the harvest for the less fortunate.

I like my doe backstraps medium rare please!
I plan on having some 2B backstraps over the fire by Sept 21!
I'll be sending yellow envelopes and DMAPS early and often!
Oh, also bought the kids their tags as well! Early muzzy/ kids doe season has kind of replaced the traditional rifle opener as far as the camp gang goes. Nicer weather, more relaxed pace and very few hunters in the woods. Not to mention that many of our guys tend to stay closer to home when they hunt for bucks

Hey ccm352 I hunt 5c and 5d. I like to put 3 in the box early. Then wait for a nice buck to walk close by and hope I don't choke[:'(] Hey BTBowhunter, Good luck in IL this year! I hooked up with a buddy that I hunted IL a few times and were going to South Dakota the first week of November. Thanks again for the invite and I will keep you in mind for a future hunt!! Be safe ALL!!!
