As of August 13th, how much growth if any do the deer in Ohiohave left to go before becoming "hard horned"?

They've stopped growing here in KY, I suspect Ohio is the same as well as the country. They are hardening up, but yet to see one out of velvet.

Not sure if this relates, but, We have a few elk in fences around my area and they are removing the velvet now. In fact most of the velvet is gone from the biggest one.
