Question about antler growth.
Hello all. I was an avid user here years ago, until I got a new job and didn't have time for the computer anymore. I am now back in a position where I can post some more. I forgot my old username so I had to come up with a new one. I guess what I'm trying to sayis that I am not new to the forum....
My question is this. Isn't it understood or maybe even proven that typical bucks (whitetail) produce two more points every year that they shed and re-grow their antlers? It seems like I had read that and that's what I have always assumed. I don't know if non typical applies here, because they have such erratic growth in their antlers.
If I am not correct please correct me. If there is a thread with this already discussed please point me in that direction.
Thanks guys

I had always thought that they grew the same antler pattern, (unless something was damaged during the velvet stage), with more mass.
