do any of you guys have any diagrams or anything for stands that you have made or anything? i dont have the money to buy one and i have some stuff laying around so i thought i could make one. any help would be great.

Are you talking wood stands or metal stands? I have never bought a treestand before, I just open a Cabelas archery catalog, pick out a treestand that I like the looks of, then go to the shop an make my own. They aren't as light as the store bought stands, but that doesn't matter to me.

just anything that is safe to hunt out of, metal or wood.
