I bought the fred bear instinct and love it. If you can afford the extra 100 or so do it. For $550 at Cabelas I got the package deal with quick release quiver Five point tru glo sight, braided string,Peep, whisker bisquit,S-coil stabilizer, limbsavers and string leeches. It absolutely rules. I can drive tacks with that thing. The upgrade from the element is much better cams and smaller axel to axel.

But if you like the element GO FOR IT, that was my first choice. You will not be dissappointed with either.

In the archery shop that I work part time at we do sellFredBear bows. I have shotthe elementmany of times, a great bow for the money, not quite a smooth as other top of the line bows, but it also is half the price (we sell them for $300 bare bow). Its one of the best entry leval bows on the market IMO. If you can afford it like duster04 said, then go to the instinct, or just a bit better than that is the Code. That is the bow that Will Primos will be shooting this year. I think that Bear bows are on the up and up and I expect some great things to come from them.
