Is this very funny? or is it just me!

You better be sure there's nobody else hunting that area unless you have a death wish. That is right up there with a turkey hunting show I saw once where a guy put a turkey fan in front of his face to stalk up on a Tom. Good way to catch a load of #5s for breakfast.

Saw it last night. Dwight Schuh is no idiot. They were hunting in a very isolated area that sees little hunting pressure and I am sure it helped allow then to put stalks on the deer. Man his hunting buddy was a big guy. I thought he was going to sink the boat.

I have messed with the concept before.. Once stalking a doe in a open bean field. She let me get 30 yards but with a recurve not quite close enough. Although she let me walk in from 60 yards... Oh yeah I used the head off my 3D target. Hey it was worth a try

I don't think they are trying to sell them--they were in a very remote hunting area.Common sense=obviously you wouldn't wear them during any gun season or anywhere you would encounter other hunters(yes there are such places).
I think it would be a great gift for those hard to get along with mother-in-laws

Sitka or PA: It's still not a good idea to impersonate a deer during hunting season. The factthat they were in Sitka just means they were further from medical aid.
The guys on this show also overloaded an inflatable boat with 100's of lbs of gear and operated it withmere inches of freeboard. The water couldn't have been more than 40 degrees and the chance of surviving a capsizing would have been nil.
As a 14 yearmilitary helicopter pilot,I have rescued similar hunting accident idiots (and transportedbodies of the less fortunate).

Try that on the opening day of rifle in PA and see how long you last.

I think anyone who checked on my history on these posts would see I'm no stooge on buying more junk, but I would absolutely try this. I didn't see the show you're talking about, but I have been considering just this idea for about two years in elk bowhunting. My concern would be for safety, I would only use it in a really remote area.
