bait placement for best photo

Default bait placement for best photo

how far do you guys put your bait from your trail cams? I put mine too far and and got a pic but the rac is not very clear.

What's up nutter, I just recently bought a Cuddeback digital scouting camera. Their recommendation was for the best image quality,install the camera about 10 feet from where the place animals are expected to be.Attach the camera to a suitable tree 3 to 4 feet above the ground. I usually put my cameras on trails I think the deer are using which doesnt require baiting. If I cant locate any deer or am only getting pics of their butts or tails then I'l throw some bait down to try and get them to stop.

Diesel... I got 160 of my cam today... Not a single buck. Time to move it to Dan... I will probably move it tomorrow.

I think you have better potential at Dans forgetting a shot at more quality bucks anyway. Better odds, more bucks, more does, more property, no brainer.
