I think that the bigger question is who was shooting your "lay away" bow while you were not there. It was probably being used as a demo when you had your back turned. I would tell them you want your money back and buy a new bow... look at the bowtech....

I'd tell them to either give me another or keep it.
I agree with this statement! Your shop's customer service needs improvement.

Thats a bummer dude.

Like someone else suggested, get your money back and buy a bowtech. I wouldn't take a chance of that thing coming back in September b/c it may be later than that.

I'd say I would have to agree with some of these guys. Give me a new bow and let Hoyt settle up with the "Pro Shop" You shouldn't have to get penalized (by not being able to shoot) because of a lemon bow, let the pro shop deal with Hoyt and you go on with life shootinga new bow you paid good money for.

But, I don't know, you might not have much choice in the matter.

I've had my LX for about 4 years now and shot in indoor and outdoor leagues 3 of the 4 and have never had the problem you described. I hope I don't! That sound like it would suck!

Good luck buddy,

the shop used to sell alot of mathews, they still do sell mathews, but they sell about 20 hoyts for every 1 mathews now. I believe i will call hoyt on monday and give them my opinion. I don't feel as though i should be penelized in this situation.

I would love a bowtech, I'm a bit of a speed freak. My problem is I have a 32" draw length. not to many bow choices for me. I think mathews really messed up with the new LD. it's nice to have a long draw to get the extra arrow speed but the LD has a 9" brace height which just defeats the whole long draw benefit.

You may also need a new proshop, your getting it stuck to ya.Your right about not wanting to wait, that thing may not come in until December! by the way I have shot a Mathews for 7 years and have never had a single thing break, period.
