dave, I havnt had a chance to try that yet, I hope to try it this weekend w/ my gps.. sounds like a good idea, Just curious, what brand GPS do you have, and how difficult is it to download from?

i've been waiting for software like this. exactly what i've wanted since terraserver first came out years ago. nothing better for scouting!

I really do like this program and have been using it since your first post about it. The only thing I do not like is that the aerial photos for my areas are several years old. I can tell by certain landmarks.
For up to date aerials, I like Yahoo! maps. They are very recent for my hunting areas.

Looks good but I really like the maps I get from MyTopo. They've been a big help in the past.

Unbelievable software. Great for marking trails and waypoints. Also great for marking your scouting/hunting spots. Best I've used so far.
