Topo/aerial photos
#1
I have looked at alot of different sites for topo/aerial photos and came to the conclusion that terraserver and google earth were the best. I prefer terraserver because it gets closer images then google even though google is easier to use. Anybody have any thoughts or can suggest another site.

I like terraserver. I use USAPhotomaps to grab the images though, makes it a whole lot more versitile and its GPS friendly. You can download it at www.jdmcox.com

You need to try www.mapmart.com
Click on Aerial Photography
Click on begin sample
This one lets you pick your area and doesnt have the set squares as terraserver does.
Mapmart also has a lot of options to choose from about map content.

If you want a very good free program try www.local.live.com. It is a Microsoft program and can get you in close. I think 150 yards above at the closest. It is the best one I have seen yet.

KansasHuntMaps.com if you need information on where to hunt in Kansas. They have clear color aerial photos of every one of the 2,500 sites covering over 1,000,000 acres state wide.Check out the ground cover, do your scouting from home. If you need GPS coordinates to help you find these areas, theyalso have them available.
Check it out. If you get lucky and get some private land, they do custom aerial photography cheap.
