Whoa, I guess not. : ) I think the flash going off in their face would make the point. Will be priceless to see the look on his face if I get some pics. This guy is a neighbor and while not a friend, someone I have to live nearby and whose grandaughter is the same age as my boy. They'll probably go to school together.

I think talking to him would be the best route. Perhaps we can strike up a compromise. He probably doesn't even realize WHY I am teed off about it - even though he should know better about the concept of private property.

I doubt it would come to this but the next step would be to call the police.

Hopefully you and the neighbor can reach a compromise. but usually what happens is a feud.

Sometimes what happens is this guy or kid will run into friends that have quads also. If it is a kid, eventually he is going to have friends over and ther'll be more quads. I've seen this happen many places. It starts with 1 or 2 quads and before you know it there are more riders.

Kids are the worst. They love to rip and tare things up. Doing doughnuts, burnouts, generally showing off. My stepson has several friends he rides with and I see it all the time. I yell at him when he acts like that but I have no authority over the other kids. so all I do is sit back and watch how they act.

I don't want anyone to get hurt with those booby traps I mentioned. I'm not talking razors being planted just junk metal. Normal people don't walk through mud puddles anyway.

When you start seeing half a dozen quads ripping on that land, you'll be thinking of those suggestions of mine, I garauntee it.LOL

But anyways, I do hope you can work something out with the neighbor. It will be in everyones best interest.

Hey,
I own and operate a wheeler...slashin tires and setting out sharp objects....not nice guys, lowering yourself......
I say go and have a word with him...after you are sure it is him passing in your driveway, you mentioned other wheelers around, could be ya going for the wrong guy...pics will tell.
If he plows your driveway he probably assumes you don't mind and you may find him plowing your drive with the wheeler come this winter probably won't if you slash his tires.
Does going through your drive take him away from the deer?
Could be you could work something out...you get deer....he shortcuts through your drive...you guys share a deersteak or two and some beers, your driveway gets plowed in timely manner and for less cost maybe.

KPR
Words of wisdom here. Better to get along , Not good for anyone to bother the police with petty crap like that. Perhaps after a lighthearted dialogue you can agree on some restrictions,:ie: riding after midnight , cutting new trails , Who buys the next beers, etc.
Then get him to pull your deer out.
