RE: Spitfire Broadheads and Hogs
I use 125 grn Spitfires and LOVE them. I shot 3 deer in the last 2 years with them. They had no problem busting through a shoulder, leg and ribs. They always left a gapping exit hole. Last year I made a horrible shot. It was quatering away and I thought I stopped the deer. Well I didn't and the arrow hit in the far rear quater. Well the deer took off and dropped about 75 yards away. It went through the rear quarter, through the internals, center shot through the liver and out the ribs just in front of the liver. I found my arrow about 30 yards from where the deer was shot. With the giant exit wounds they make it is always and easy blood trail. That deer that ran 75 yards was the furthest any of the deer I had shot ran. I sure they'd do a number on hogs too.

I shoot spitfires for whitetail and they work great. I have never had a problem with them. I shoot 70# and 100 grain spitfires. Infact they are pretty durable. I was able to harvest and animal last year with one, I got home put the broad head in the dish washer and put an edge on the blades and it is good to go for another round.

i switched last year from my wasp jackhammers to spitfires and i hated them....i went 0/2 with them before i tossed them out. I got the jackhammers back and I was back in buisness
