Yea i know this bites.It was only a matter of time i figured.
And i live about 35 miles from the hot spot.Makes one wonder whats next season going to be like.
It's not how big the Deer,But the size of the experiance that matters!!

I bet there are alot more cases of this all through out the USA that we just don't know about yet. It has been here for a long time with little or no testing in most areas. That is why I think shooting all the animals in an area without testing in more areas is foolish.

In the latest Petersons Bowhunting magazine Jay Strangis (the editor I think) talks about CWD and all the HYPE around it. He says that there is really no cause for worry about eating the meat, only deboning during the processing. Just talked to my butcher this morning and he obviously has done quite a bit of research and he told me the exact same thing. He said if anyone should be worried it should be him, and he's not. I think the antis are just trying to get everyone in an uproar about this to try to convince people not to shoot deer. Just my .02 worth.....
