RE: tomkat
i'm looking into one for my dad, i'll probably get it off of www.huntersfriend.com. The bow is 529.00 and the package runs for 615.00. Best of all they tune the bow up and everything if you get the package.

I'm shooting the 2005 model with regular cam @ 229 fps w/100 gr Muzzy and only a 27" draw. I can not find a thing wrong with this bow for a beginner or small built person. Shoots smooth and very little recoil with the factory hush kit. Just put good accessories on it and you will have a deer killer.

When I worked the BowTech booth at the Illinois Deer Expo, the most common theme among the questions I fielded all day seemed to be "How can BowTech make a bow with all the features of their best bows and sell it for this price?"
An 8 5/8" brace height generating up to 315 fps with the speed mods in? Best-kept secret in the lineup, I think. [:-]

RE: tomkat
thats still a little steep in price for me, im gonna wait a year or two until i can move up to 70 lb bow. I can pull up to about 62 but only 58 comfortably. When i can pull 60 easy and hold it im in the bow market again. But my Browning F5 Tornado is doing fine for now. When i od go back into the market its gonna be either a ross, bowtech, diamond(same thing as bowtech), or maybe even Elite.Im leaning towards bowtech or ross though
