I picked beans cause i'd rather bow hunt the beans. Round my area they dont cut the corn till close to gun season.. so before that its tough to find the deer cause they live in the corn 24/7. Also, beans are better for growing bigger racks

soybeans! farmers havest so good they don't leave as much corn as they used too. soybeans green plants start to come again. which in my experience bring more deer.

I guess I would have to say corn... being from the Southwestern part of the state of Virginia I really didn't know that soybeans were grown in the United States till about 10 years ago.... (oh the embarrassing mortification of it all!!!)

I picked soy for a few reasons. I can do my early season scouting from farther away what bucks and does I want to target easier in soy, I can see where they are coming from as they enter the fields which gives me tips on bedding areas and ambush possibilities.I dont have to go into the woods to scout when we have soy planted as much, where if corn is planted I have to get in the woods and check my cameras more often and check bedding trails and watering trails more often which I dont like doing unless I have to, stay out of the woods as much as I can. The deer are feeding on soy in the early bow season more so than corn around here. If its planted food crops and its a choice onlyof soy or corn, I'll go with soy even though both will hold deer but you cant see deer very good in standing corn.
