corn or soybeans
i have always been a fan of corn for food and to draw them in
i am hunting off of a soybean field that as of last week was still real green i think because it is in the middle of woods
i thought about putting out some corn to draw them in and get them to hold where i wont them
will this work if i am 50 yards from the soybean field and will it change when it is cut which should be some time around opening day oct 1 give your take some time
every where else around here there already cutting both corn and beans but this field is for some reason still green and uncut i think mayber since it is in the woods and on good flood plain soil

Don't know what it's like where you hunt, but here in North Florida the deer will walk through knee deep beans to get to the corn. The one good thing about feeding the deer beans is that the bears don't really like them. They cost twice as much but the bears will eat 90 per cent of your corn and none of your beans so you still come out.
