Default Are there any women bowhunters out there?

I was just wondering if there are any other women bowhunters on this site? If there are, what bow do your use, and what do you hunt?

I shoot a Hoyt Trykon set at 50 pounds, I hunt about anything that moves. Last whitetail season I got a small 8 point and a doe from my treestand. Last year my husband set up my stands for me, this year I want to learn to use a climbing tree stand so I can do the work myself. Do you gals set your own stands?I do my own blinds.Anyways, I only have been hunting for about a year, I love it, I have gone elk and turkey hunting as well, but, was not able to get the animals in close enough for a shot. So if there are any other gals out there I would love to hear what you use, what you hunt, and your stories.

She failed to tell the cool thing about her two first deer kills. She shot them both in the same night about 2-3 minutes apart. I was sitting next to her in a different treestand but same tree and 4 does and a little 8 pt come down the trail and stopped about 15 yds from us. We have a no shoot buck policy unless it is a monster but I really wanted her first deer to be a buck. She calmly shot the buck and he did a little jump and walked off out of sight over a little hogback and the 4 does just stood there dumbfounded. She had a doe tag too so I whispered to her to get another arrow knocked and shoot another. She did and the doe walked about 15 yds and fell over. What was crazy is it was opening day of the 2nd archery season. I did the same thing but I shot 2 does on opening day of 1st season within 2-3 minutes apart. She's working on her pic.

Okay here you go. I did not take a pic of the buck or doe onsite. We were wayout and did not have a camera. We do all of our field dressing out in the field. HCH did not want to mount it so all I have is the rack.
