Exactly! I've stated, as have many, why they are disgusted with this "drug a buck for dollars" idea. Those that are for it, or are involved in it, especially when they stand to profit from something wherein they claim to be representing what hunters want, & have beenwaiting for, need to answer the bell and help the masses understand how this can bea benefitfor hunters and hunting.

Let's not waffle here folks. Either it's bad or it isn't. Those supporting it for whatever reason are not looking out for huntings best interest. It can't possibably do anything but hurt hunting. SO, no matter who it is, it's inhuntings best interest to give them as much heat as we can. An unreality reality about hunting isn't what we need. Guys in new Cabela gear hunting behind fences on staged canned hunting grounds for money do nothing but give us a bad image. A pigs ear is a pigs ear.

Well said, Davidmil... well said!
WHA will seriously damage the public "perception" of what hunting is truely about! I just pray that this won't come about and that is just a bad idea gone wrong. [:'(]

God forbid we actually hold someone acountable for their actions in this new PC world. I would hate to ruffle someones feathers.
I didn't read all of the posts so I don't know exactly what happened. Now if someone was making up stuff about someone else to make them look bad that is one thing. But if you are just telling it like it is and how you feel, too bad. Sorry you don't feel the same way, but we are all entitled to our own opinions. If you get all bent out of shape because you don't agree with it that is your hang up not someone elses. ( I don't mean anyone specific when I say "you", just generalizing is all.)
I agree with David and Arthur. Arthur doesn't have any trouble telling me what he thinks about the way I hunt, and I have no problems with it. I sort of respect him more for it.

And... if you'll pardon my jump to judgement, it's all a biproduct of the QDM/Let's grow big horns so I can thump my chest hype. QDM/Let's grow big horns so I can thump my chest is also the reason a lot of people are loosing the hunting areas to the big bucks/big dollars guys like US Outfitters and private rich people. Watch the prices of leases go up as states inact trophy management minimums to grow big horns. When people hunted for the joy of hunting and the joy of taking an animal this never would have happened. Just too much "ME" and "Macho" in hunting these days. Too much hype on the celebs hunting protected private haunts that anyone could kill a big deer in. They're growing a herd, not hunting. It has begun the end of hunting as our fathers knew it. I think it would almost be better if we had a big kill off and reverted to the wild populations we had in the 50s and 60s.
