original or new MZE
#1
I posted this under technichal as well, but since more are on hear, I thought I would get a better response.
I have finally decided to get a MZE rest.
My question is this. There are several models now, original, model 600, and 600 pc (parallel and compact).
My bow is about a6 year old Hoyt Tenacity II. It is short, about 34" ata, and relatively compact even by today's standards. Oh, and it's pretty fast too, but that's another subject.
Which would be the right choice?
I would go to the pro shop, but I can order it from Eagle Archery for $55.
My assumption would be the 600 pc.

It has to do with amount of movement the cables have on the cable slide. The parallel limb bows don't have a lot of movement so they designed a new rest to work better on them. I know my original Muzzy will not work on my 2004 Mighty Might, but works fine on my girlfriends Alpine micro. Both are shorter bows, but hers does not have the laid back limbs.
I would contact Muzzy, they could tell you for sure which model would work best for your bow. From what I understand they are pretty helpfull when it comes to these rests.
By the way, I love my Muzzy. After trying a few of the other models if I were to get another drop away it would be a muzzy Zero Effect again.
