A PCS vision card. How does that work? Is it basically like wireless internet that runs through a cell phone or something? The cell phone won't come in in our woods. But maybeI could bury a cable from the house and attach a wireless modem out in the woods. Not sure I'd take it that far. Gotta love the wireless modem when working at home. Can sit out in the back yard and work on the computer and take breaks to look at this site.

Yes, basically it's a cell phone in the PC slot. If you have PCS service, you have an online connection. I did a speed test and got close to .5meg download rate. It's slower if I go to download Rush Limbaugh's recent MP3 show. I think it has to do with the priority Sprint gives to voice over data traffic. There is also ways to do 802.11 service from your treestand. It just could get a little expensive if you didn't want to run a foul with the FCC. Then again, there busy looking for ward robe malfunctions.

Not before, because I have to be at work at 8 AM and I hate mornings. But I have an hour lunch and permission to hunt the property directly behind work so I go during lunch. Not a high probabilty I'll get something but I figure 45 minutes a day/5 days a week adds up to almost a whole free day of hunting. During the rut I blackpowder hunt (can I say that on this thread? ) so I have a better chance of shooting a buck roaming for a honey. I'm picky about what I'll shoot and if I get something I'll either call in and say I'll be late and make it up by staying late or I'll call my Dad to come get the deer for me. I also hunt after work as much as I can without ignoring my obligations to my family. Vibrating phones and earplugs help a lot too. I'm looking forward to the extended DLS change as well since I hate getting up real early and I have more chances after work. I tend to just throw a jumpsuit or light jacket and gym type fleece camo pants on over my corporate casual clothes.

Work and hunting almost never happen on the same day for me. When we get foul or wet weather I'm off from work, thats real nice during deer season but you won't get rich that way! Also, the thought of having to go to work after a hunt would take my high away from me.
