Default Permanently bedded buck.......

Spent 3 hours today stalken through some very wet and thick stuff.Windy rainy blah day better suited to duck hunten but went out anyway.Anyhow spotted a set of antlers in some thick stuff and though ...OH Yeah ...welll was tottally bummed -n- royally ticked off to discover that it was already dead....been there awile as the coyotes had got to it some.found an entrance hole in the neck with an exit hole just behind the shoulder blade......Somebody nailed this lil 4 point and didn't tag it.......What really irked me was the trampled trail leaden to the deer(looked like he made it) was easy enuff for a blind man to follow.Figure either whoever shot it thought they missed or they gave up looken for it.....What a shame ...nice bodied buck turned to coyote bait.
Left a note at the parking area to whomever shot a 4 point buck ya deer is about 150 to 200 yards from your stand......hopefully they see it and realize that they mesed up and learn from it.

If god didn't want us to eat animals....Why did he make them outa meat?

Unfortunately I've found several deer over the years with good shots put on them. Nearly all of them were next to a Wildlife Refuge that allows public hunting. I think most serious bowhunters put hours into locating their animal but there are "hunters" that take these magnificent animals for granted.
I think bow clubs and sportsman's groups need to put more attention on animal retrieval. Educate the few!
