Who uses G5 Montecs?

I love the way they shoot. The only draw back is that they are not very sharp out of the box. You have to sharpen them before hunting. They fly great and are tuff as nails but are dull.

I used them year beforelast and I liked them. Last year I used their tekan II just to try them. I liked the tekan as well but I found that the'd pop open when you removed them from the quiver sometimes. This year I'm gonna try slick tricks. I agree the montecs are not as sharp as I would prefer out of the box. I found that they are hard to sharpen once they're shot I guess the steel is so hard its tough. Other than that a great broadhead.

You will not find a tougher broadhead. IMO

I used the Montecs for the past two years.. good broadhead.
The one piece head is awesome, leaves a devastating hole in a properly placed shot!
Only 1 problem, hard to sharpen! [:@]
I too, am switching broadheads this year to NAP nitrons... just heard too many good things.
